Ever morning I take time to meditate for a half hour or so listening to "Deep Praying Instrumental Music/Musica instrumental Para Orar:" http://youtu.be/xu3JvGw6ZZ4 then I pray to God followed by my three readings: Daily Prayer A Resource of Forward Movement, Our Daily Bread, and Upper Room Daily Reflections — daily words of wisdom and faith.
As I was listening to the Deep Meditation tape (URL above) I happen read a reply to a comment made by a person that was saying he believed their is a God and shared his belief. Here is the reply to the believer in God:

As a veteran I always heard when serving there were no atheist in foxholes."I did hear that in England a group of atheist bought an old church to hold service in. I should be less expensive that a christian church since they will not have to buy any a cross with Jesus Christ on it or any pictures of him. The will not need prayer books. However, they may say "In the beginning was the comb jelly, and it
was good."

I believe in God and Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and belong to a local church because I believe in the Pastor and his sermons are all inspiring and he shares wisdom and knowledge of other humans thoughts and experiences. As you can see by the menu below that the choices of what denomination or communions to belong to is large. I have chosen to follow Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior and not a church created by man. I try try to follow his teachings. A great way to know how to make a great decision is to ask yourself: How would Jesus handle it

There is evidence for alien existence but not so much or none at all to say they wouldve created us.
Why would we call a farther evolved being a god?
Its just consciousness benifiting from an evolved dessel.
The reason it couldnt be the god in the bible is because we are a type of evolved primate, we were not created from a rib and dirt.
